My name’s Enkhbayar. I’m 19 years old. I was born in beautiful country of Mongolia where is located in the south of Mongolia. But I graduated High school in Ulaanbaatar. Now I’m studying at Mongolian University of Science and Technology. I’m majoring IT engineer. Before I start University I started study computer related things. I like to study programming. For example: Pascal, C++, HTML, PHP etc.
I was born in quite big family. There are my parents, grandparents and brothers. So, I became friendly. I have many friends. Also I’m very kind hearted. I want to help others, especially, poor and needy people. I’m ambitious. My ambition is very high. I think, after graduated university, I’ll work IT engineering very hard for many years. Then I’ll be skilful experienced, after I’ll found a company to out sourcing. So, I should study very hard and learn English, Japanese and other languages very well. I think, I can be sensitive. Sometimes, I get upset easily and take offense easily. And I may be stubborn. Because I never change my mind. Sometimes it make angry for my friends. They always say: “Don’t be stubborn”.
Sometimes I worried about our planet is being destroyed by human activities.Nowadays, we see from television or read from newspaper that our planet is going to be an intolerable place to live. I believe that the earth is being damaged by many things especially human activities. There are still many problems of the planet in recent years. One of the most important problems is the deforesting. Forests are home to hundred of species of flora and fauna. While cutting down the trees for a paper or to make furniture, people forget that they are also cutting down our supply of oxygen, water and plants. Because trees absorb the carbon dioxide which is bad for health, effects changes in the climate and raise the temperature. Due to the fact that carbon dioxide increases and ply of ozone is punctured. We have seen the consequences of upsetting this balance in many environmental problems such as global warming. As the earth’s temperature rises, the icebergs in the south polar and north polar melt and the sea level becomes higher than before. Where do animals and birds go after cut down forests? Nowhere, they die as lose their homes. Also the rivers become shallower. If we continue this, there will become more problems in the earth. Another serious problem is pollution of water, air and soil. Water pollution is caused as factories pour dirty water or chemicals into rivers and lakes. Consequently, animals which live in sea, river and lakes are decreased and die. Causes of air pollution are fumes of factories and cars. In recent decades, due to those pollution, ranges from increased allergies, respiratory disease, and cancer to the disorder of the body’s hormone. Animals are a necessary part of our lives on Earth. But nowadays, more and more people are killing animals to use their skin, fur and teeth etc. So those animals are decreasing day by day. If the endangered animals are not protected the existence of humans will be in danger. Our history has shown that if we continue to exploit our resources, particularly by destroying the land and therefore the natural habitat of plants and animals, we will ultimately harm ourselves. Most people do not know they are destroying nature themselves. So we realize it and try to make environment better place to live. We should use environmentally friendly cars, do not cut down forest and preserve animals. Also government should pass law and spent more money for save planet. If we can do it, our planet will be more safer and healthier.
My lifestyle is simple. I enjoy reading interesting books, going to cinema, playing tennis and listening to music. Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to play tennis, go to cinema now. Because I spend my free time to learn. I want my parents proud of me in the future and achieve my goal which is to graduate my university successfully. I spend my free time to look after my younger brother. We always play computer game, watch interesting movies, cartoons. Last, I watch “Brother Bear” cartoon which was filmed by Walt Disney. It’s about bear which is understanding love, consideration, kindness. So that’s very informed movie. Kenai, A Native American living in the Pacific American Northwest, is about to receive his totem. It is a symbol revealed by the Great Spirits to help guide him through life, and it is given to him by Tanana , the village Shaman. His totem is a carved bear, which is the symbol of love. He thinks a love totem is wussy, at least compared to his two older brothers’ totems. His oldest brother Sitka has the eagle totem, representing guidance, and his other brother Denahi has the wolf totem, representing wisdom. Sitka tries to impart upon him how important the totem is, but Denahi makes fun of him about it. Later, Kenai is given the responsibility of tying up the basket of fish caught that day, but he does a weak job of it, and it doesn’t take long before a bear has stolen the basket. He follows the bear to either get back the fish or kill the bear, and his brothers follow him because they don’t want the bear to kill him. That actually almost happens, but Sitka sacrifices himself to save Kenai and Denahi by breaking off a piece of glacier containing him and the bear. It takes them out of harm’s way, but Sitka is killed while the bear is just stunned. Vowing revenge, Kenai goes after the bear for more than just fish retrieval reasons. He kills the bear, which makes the Great Spirits, in the form of the Northern Lights, fall down upon Kenai, and turn him into a bear himself. Denahi arrives upon the scene just after he has turned into a bear and thinks that the bear he sees there has killed Kenai. This makes Denahi want to kill this bear out of revenge. Tanana is the only one who knows that the bear is really Kenai and she tells him that it was the spirit of Sitka who turned him into a bear and that he can find Sitka’s spirit on the “mountain where the light touches the earth.” He doesn’t know where that is, so he tries asking the animals that he can suddenly now understand. He tries asking some chipmunks and two Canadian-accented moose brothers named Rutt and Tuke. They all dismiss him as crazy, and either run away from him or tease him. He finally finds help in the form of a bear cub named Koda who lends him a hand when he accidentally becomes caught in a bear trap. Koda has been separated from his mother, and intends to meet her at the annual Salmon Run. He wants Kenai to help him get there, and exchange, he will tell Kenai where the mountain he is looking for is. At the Salmon Run, Kenai meets Tug, who is the leader of the bears that have gathered for the annual fish-gathering festival. After all the adventures he goes through with Koda and the fun he has with these bears, Kenai starts to have better feelings towards bears, where previously he thought they were all just monsters. He also finds out the truth about Koda’s mom, which might affect his relationship with Koda. If he can make it to the mountain to see Sitka before Denahi catches up to him, he might be transformed back and finally learn what it means to be a man. Personally, I would have rather seen a movie centered on Rutt and Tuke. The story itself was okay, but the scenes with the supporting characters were the only fun parts. The tale of Kenai and Kody was a little preachy and sappy. Were they trying to teach kids that bears aren’t dangerous, or that humans are? Brother Bear isn’t the worst cartoon. At first, I saw it 2 years ago. Those crazy moose, the rams, and the bears at the Salmon Run made the movie more enjoyable than some other animated features that came out this year. I just hope the next time I see them, they will be much more interesting things. After saw it, I explained my younger brother about to polite, love others.
In my summer holiday, I usually work. But last summer holiday, I travelled to Ovorkhangai aimag with my friends and to Southgobi aimag with my whole family. It was first time I have travelled many places. It was just like dream. First of all, I went to Ovorkhangai for a week. It’s “Summer Education Seminar VII”. Student’s Union of Mongolian Science and Technology/MUST/ organizes it every 2 years. 2 outstanding students participate it from every school of MUST. I went to it with my friend Enkhjin. There were about 40 students, 10 over Student’s Union’s members. On 9 of July, We set out from Ulaanbaatar by bus. On the way, we saw Elsentasarkhai and Khogno Khan Mountain. Khogno Khan is very high, majestic and stony. It looks like laying dinosaur. It’s historical memorable place. Manduhai tsetsen queen and her army were fighting with their enemies here. There is memorial statue of Mandukhai. Elsentasarkhai is located near Khogno Khan. It’s very huge sand dune. Our guide said that it was very long and continued until Russian border. Many types trees grow here. The weather was cold and rainy. These places are one of the beautiful place of Mongolia. We inhabited in “Khangai” camp which is located about 10km from Kharkhorin sum. Namely, it’s located in bottom land of Orkhon. Kharhorin is the first capital of the Mongolia Empire. Our camp’s food was very delicious, especially the breads and the service was excellent. It was enjoyable us. The one bad thing was that their shower’s water to goes off every 15 minutes. So we should shower very quickly. But our everything was great.Bottom land of Orkhon is such an admirable place and national park. There are lots of things to see. For example: “Black ruins city’s novel”, Orkhon’s waterwalls. Second day, we went to Black ruins city’s novel which is short drive away from Kharkhorin. It had impressed me very much with its glorious novel and ancient buildings’ ruin. In ancient time, it was capital of Tureg, Uigur. It’s great and very interesting place with marvelous history. After saw it, we had to go to Orkhon’s waterwall, Mogoit’s spa and Tuvkhvn temple. But suddenly it started raining. Fortunately it was a shower. So our bus sagged in slime, then we dislodged it. But we couldn’t do it and couldn’t see Orkhon’s waterwall, Mogoit’s spa and Tuvkhvn temple. But I think, I’ll go to there necessary in next holiday.Other day of our seminar, we participated lots of educational, sporting competition. For example “Training”, ”Football”, greeting and controversy etc. Also we listened many lecture about engineering, education, team, job etc. In my opinion, we became a lot of knowledge about everything. 5th day of our seminar, we walked to Erdenezuu monastery about 20km. On the way, we had barriers such as to cross river. Although we was very exhausted we had been walking to see fantastic Erdene zuu monastery. The monastery is surrounded by 108 soyombo stupas, joined together by a square stone wall. Each stupa is 3.15-3.17 meters wide at its foundation, and is 7.5 meters in height, including a 3.4 meter base. The main temples of Erdene Zuu the three Zuu temples, the Dalai Lama temple, and so on are situated in the northwest section of the monastery; in the north-central section is located the "Golden Stupa", a 1.6 metre-high stupa is in the Bodhi style surrounded by eight smaller stupas of various types, built on a square foundation. It was very marvelous.Last day of our seminar, we did fantastic fire festival. It was very hot when approach it. Even though I miss home, it was depressing when depart my friends. “Summer Education Seminar VII” was greatest minute in my life.Secondly, I travelled to Southgobi aimag with my whole family. Southgobi is my motherland. We travelled for 3 days through the countryside. It was great. Southgobi have become one of the most tourist sites in Mongolia. The first place we stopped at was Khongoriin Els in southern Southgobi. It’s one of the natural sights. It’s 800 meter high and 100km long. Also 330km long sand dunes occurring 2727 square meters are large sand dunes in Mongolia. Have you ever seen river, grasses, plants in dessert? Rather, there are river and many plants in Khongoriin Els. At first, I fascinated as soon as I have seen it. Actually it’s oasis. It was so fabulous and colorful. Also there are many rare plants and rare animals such as gobi bear, khulan, antelope, chamois and zag, kharmag, goyo etc. But those things aredecreasing day by day. I rode the camel and drank khoormog which is camel’s airag. It was an unforgettable memoir and good experience for me. Here I saw very big frog which is called Mongolian frog. Then I took its photo. We walked barefooted sand dune. It was so hot. When we delved, we get water. Then we into there our foot. The one amazing thing was that even though sand was very hot, water was cold just like ice. Most marvelous thing is “Duut mankhan”. It hisses just like human. Sometimes it’s heard just singing. Khongoriin Els is the most fantastic place for me. The next place on the tour was Yoliin Am. The valley in the Zuun Saikhan Mountain located 45km from Dalanzadgad, in the centre of Southgobi, is called Yoliin am. The narrow valley between high rock walls has breathtaking dramatic scenery and no doubt is one of the most beautiful place in the country. There is a huge ice which never melts in 4 season. Also there are many plants. For example: kharmag, arts, toshloi, eglantine, nettle etc. It is called Yoliin Am as Yol bird lives here. Here we roosted for 2 days. In afternoon, we berried kharmag to prepare jam and wine. Also berried nettle and eglantine. It’s good for health. In evening, we cooked khorkhog which is Mongolian national food. It was very delicious just like drool. Finally, Even though I was very tired when I come back home, my summer holiday was so wonderful. I think it was a great opportunity to meet new people, have many friends, gain more knowledge and experience. I took lots of picture about Mongolian beautiful nature, animals, plants and more.
But our country will be much more developed in the future. Nowadays, there is no doubt that the computer is one of the greatest humankind’s invention of the last century. It will be the most important thing everyone. They will use computer especially internet everyday like mobile. People will do everything such as make friends, do shopping study through the internet. There will be no TV, mobile and fm radio. Perhaps people will put on weight as all day they will sit front of computer. Also their eyesight will decay. Although, it will influence bad for health , people will have lots of free time. Because they will do all thing by robot, computer, machine… Robot and machines will do the works such as cooking, washing, cleaning, etc. So people, will be lazy. In future, there will be no ailment such as contagion, malignant. Because treatment will have developed very well. Also genetic engineering will have developed and scientist will start to duplicate human, animals. Education will have changed a lot. Students will be using computer at home and study through internet. Moreover, most people will speak many languages. Chinese or English will become as a second Languages in Mongolia. All over the world, people will know Mongolia by high qualified employee. After 100 years, Transport will be more developed than past. There will be underground in Mongolia. Some people will have used flying car to where to go. There will be no traffic jam in city centre. Unfortunately, people won’t ride horse in countryside. Using horse will be decreased, moreover children will only see horse in book. Travel in our Mongolia will change. People will visit other planet such as moon, mars etc. But it will be very expensive. And visiting foreign country will be easy and cheap. Because in every place of the world, people will have used only dollar. On the other side, nature will have damaged by human activities. Nowadays modern industry needs more and more resources, including minerals fuels and water. So Mongolians will confront of the serious problem such as the lake of fuels and water. Ecological balance will be damaged because factories occupy many places where animals and plants live. More and more buildings will be constructed and forest will become less and less in future. In sum, although we will have advanced machine and our life will be damaged. So, we should save our nature, country. I believe that Mongolia will become a better country to live with our ceaseless efforts.
I have got short hair and brown eyes. When I was child, I was tall and plump. But now I’m short and thin. I think I’m too thin and how to become fat? Lately, I have been drinking tea with maize. My friend said that if you drank tea with maize more, you would become fat. I hope it.
Further, I’m trying to do my best to study hard and to make grades. If I ask you “Have you ever meet someone just like you?”. Of course, you’ll answer “No, I never”. Because in all the world, there is no one else exactly like me, you and others. Therefore, love yourself. And do everything from your heart.
